my muffins

introducing *drumrolls* my muffins! i think we missed each other too much that for the past few weeks we did numerous FaceTime and Skype conference. Even when we meet and hang out we stay hours and hours in starbucks and take silly photos of ourselves. is this what friendship is like when we are getting older? not much activity, just staring, glaring and chat about our highlight of the week? whatever it is, the most important thing is we enjoy each others company. hopefully when we have our own family we would still go out, hang out and let our children be playmates? short + sweet

are you excitedddddddddd? well i am! want to know why? because I'm going to be part of the short + sweet festival this year. I'm under the musical theatre category as a musical actor. all of the participants are independent directors, scriptwriters, musical actors and dancers. went for audition and can't believe i got through. first time performing. well its just a 10 mins play but still have to give all out. going to perform from 28th sept til 1st oct. will update soon. come and support me!

last weekend : food odyssey

hello peeps! last weekend my boyfie came to kl for some getaway with me :) well if it involves me it involves a whole lotta food. so here goes our food chronicles. haha. enjoy!

1. Belanga, The Gardens Mall

i was fasting and we were in a rush to catch harry potter at 8. chose the simplest and fastest place to eat. so wander around the food court and found belanga. they offer mainly local cuisine food.

2. Fat Spoon, Damansara Uptown

i've been wanting to go to this place in ages but just never have the chance to. you know the deal to park in uptown. the place is super busy. well a very very cosy restaurant. love the decor. whimsical vintage style. the food range is great too. local with a little western hint. highly recommended.

remember this? they recycled the ladybird book for their menu. how cute!

i forgot what its called. but its white rice with curry chicken, grill prawns and telur masin

assam pedas. the gravy was good. just the fish was not as fresh. how i wish it was stingray!

3. Wondermilk, Damansara Uptown

wondermilk as you know it is in the same row as fat spoon. so i decided to get myself some dessert. you can never go wrong with their cuppies!

personalized speedy

getting a new bag excites me. yeay! but getting a new bag with personalized initial is double exciting. yeay!yeay!

was not even planning to get it. everything was so spontaneous. well i think my mom is being considerate after i drove her all around town and follow all her activities (wink!). i dont have any problem accompanying/driving her around but probably she just wants to reward her daughter for being so nice :p

i was a bit "jakun" when the lv personnel brought us to a private room somewhere behind those cupboards. didn't even knew there's a room all this while. normally its for people who wants to buy watches and for their very very loyal customer. i guess im lucky that day!

chose A.S to be stamped on the bag and they even have this big touch screen monitors where we can choose colours for the border. super cool! lets take a look at the final product *bigsmiles*

isn't it pretty? chose fuschia and turqoise. fun colours! all personalized item will be ready in 2 months time. i cannot wait. will definitely make a review on it. so stay tune! no intentions of bragging im just too overwhelmed. thank you ma!

starmaker bootcamp

well hello everybody! before i start to post bout my holiday whereabouts for the past few months, i would like to share with ya'll that i have enrolled myself in the starmaker musical bootcamp organized by enfiniti media that is owned by none other than the country's leading musical theatre actress tiara jacquelina.

it was not a spot on decision that i've made. told few friends and family bout it and they asked me to go for it. was a bit doubtful at first but here am i now looking forward for the weekends to attend the bootcamp classes :p

im so passionate about musical theatres but never knew where do i stand and how much i would actually want it. but i was so lucky to be in the bootcamp and meet new friends. all different age, different background, but all with the same passion. they are all creative and talented human being in their own way. when we're in class, everybody just clicked, and think alike. love them!

classes includes dancing technique, acting skills, vocal technique, musical theatre dance and many more. coaches includes pat ibrahim, ann tan, joanna bessey, michael voon, and some times even tiara herself.

if im not mistaken, this bootcamp thingy will be held from time to time. so if you're passionate about musical theatre i reckon you should give it a try and go for it. shyness aside. you'll never know what's hidden inside.

seoul-ful

well anyonghaseyo! i hope its never too late for me to post pics from my seoul trip in february, yes february! went with my boyfie and his family. ok i have to admit, my main purpose of the trip is to attend big bang : big show 2011 :) im obsessed with big bang and my boyfie wants some time out from work, so it was a win win situation. heeeeheeeeeeee.

seoul was fun! ive been to korea for a few times already but this trip was mainly focused in seoul so i get to explore more of seoul. the people in seoul is so warm and friendly hence the language barrier. they always greet u with a smile be it at a 5 star shopping mall or a food stall along the street.

wouldn't say no for another getaway in seoul. im a sucker for their cafe's. the dessert is just oh-so-yummy-eh! and i actually bumped into one of ft-island band member(k-pop star). nope, didn't get starstruck but its quite exciting.
