sweet tooth

hello! wow im just so overwhelmed.i've been trying "banoffee pie" recipe from the internet last week and fairly i did well. not self boasting here but the recipe is kind of easy. did it for two days in a row and everybody loves it. i even make a special one for syafinaz for her birthday. best kan ? but paling tak tahan siap ada nak beli lagi.. maybe i should start a dessert business and start with my banoffee pie? who knows there might be a martha stewart in the making( eceh..eceh..) so i decided to post the recipe on my blog. if u have some free time pls try this at home. its easier than it looks. trust me.


ALIAA'S BANOFFEE PIE

Ingredients
condensed milk
caster sugar
block butter
digestive/shortbread cookies
fresh bananas
double whipped cream
cocoa powder for decorations

* used the ingredients as much as ur likings. i dont have specific measurements for it

Methods
1. BASE-crushed digestive/shortbread cookies in a bowl. if u want it to be sweeter u can use shortbread and if u like crunchier texture u can add crushed nuts. heat block butter on the stove and mix it with the crushed biscuits. when its done, press the mixture to a pie plate and let it cool for a few mins.

2. TOFFEE- mixed block butter, caster sugar and condensed milk. stir it for 10 mins until the colours turns into golden brown. in the meantime sliced bananas. u can either mixed bananas with the caramelised toffee and put it in the pie plate or u can put a layer of toffee first then add banana on the top layer.

3. CREAM- placed the whipped cream on top of the whole pie plate and add cocoa powder as decorations. and its done!

attention : this is definetely not recommended for diabetics patients.very very sweet.
