food fest weekend

whew! the title says it all. had a good + sinful weekend with my girl syafz two weeks ago. enjoy my food journey.

notice : reading this entry in the middle of the night is not advisable. trust me, you'll end up opening the kitchen fridge.thank you.

kick start our friday with a late lunch in nirwana nasi kandar bangsar. love the fried "peria" and pappadom, but the rest was average. as long as i had live, nilai negeri sembilan have the best nasi kandar. no joke.

late supper in sahara tent bukit bintang. one of the best arab food in kl. love the sahara chicken and the fresh baked arab bread. but what am i thinking? supper? definitely guilty as charged.
the signature sahara chicken

shish kebab

freshly baked arab bread. you'll ask for more

mahalabia and bakhlava for dessert. a bit dissapointed. doesn't taste good as the presentation.

the next day, went to tgi's for a birthday party. so this is what we ate.

syafz had tennessee grilled chicken

i had tennesse steak and shrimp. love the battered shrimp and tennesse sauce.

went back home and opened up a new box of bakhlava that my mom bought from her syria trip. and the bakhlava is way better than the one in sahara tent. bakhlava is definitely my dessert of the moment. loves it.

the next day, went for some dessert in baskin robbins. we opt for ice cream fondue. sooo sooo good. imagine ice cold ice cream ball dipped in hot chocolate sauce. its just heaven. wish they have this in kuantan branch. wouldn't mind this in any other day.

happy faces

all ready to fork it up

and we had our dinner in this chinese seafood restaurant, hokkaido. its located opposite vistana hotel. the place is always packed and full and its halal. very rare to find a good chinese halal restaurant in kl with affordable price. you guys should try it out.

first up, bowl of shark's fin soup

pineapple chicken

the moment of truth

my favourite sizzling tofu

salted khailan

man tao, best to be eaten with the crab

chilly sweet sour crab. nyumsss!

butter prawns

the queen of crab

the queen of soups and vege

i seriously ate everything

no turning back

damage is done

beard papa for dessert. tried durian puff and its yummy.

before the girls return back to kuantan the next day, we went to madam's kwan for lunch. the same old menu everytime. but good food overall.

chicken rice

nasi bojari

penang char kuey teow

sago gula melaka to round things up.

and ate this sesame ice cream with azuki beans for dinner with the family. yummss!

what do you think? food overload enough? it's time to detoxxxxxx. arggghhh!
