yasmin ahmad. one talented director had leave us all. she's in a league of her own. im always intrigued by her work. how she puts the story together and the unique flow of her movie made her special and noticed by everybody not just in asia region but in the west as well. she had won numerous international awards for her film even if the malaysian board doesnt declare her work.i have to say im a big fan of her work especially those petronas ad. everytime is about a different story . either its about racial community or the bond of friendship. and it captured my heart without failed (:
i wanted to watch this movie muallaf so bad. got great reviews from everywhere. even won a few awards and i heard singapore cinemas had booked this film twice in case the singaporeans does not have the chance to watch it first time around. unfortunately this film will not be released in malaysia because of finas. they have to tapis so many things. its just weird sometimes when the finas people are so sensitive with this kind of film. a film with good morale.but then they could give the remp-it movie a green light where all the girls wears half tubes and micro mini skirts ? very annoying!
