the month of august is full of surprises! my sister got a bonus and decided to shower me with gifts (p/s: this doesn't happen everyday). so she asked me to choose anything within a given limit and i decided to add a few items for my accessories collection. ended up buying 3 items from chanel and paid 1 item using my own money. don't forget people, we're on a budget so i have to stick to the promise.
compared to silver, i'm more of a gold girl. gold accessories seems more appealing and have the classic feel in some way. doesn't everyone look classy in gold? so i bought a set of black/gold bangles from the shanghai collection. bangles is a staple in my everyday wardrobe, so buying this is really an investment. definitely not a waste. and lastly i bought 2 set of earrings. one with a pearl drop and another one with a double C drop. i can either wear this with baju kurung for raya or with my work attire to the office. very basic but i love it. what do u guys think?
and yes! as all of u know, im into the k-pop phase. so i thought of adding a new section to my blog entry dedicated to all of the k-pop addicts, K-POP STOPS! i will feature interesting news or cool magazine spreads from the k-pop world!
K-Pop Stops!
If u watch Boys Over Flower then you'll definitely know this character Gu Jung Pyo that was portrayed by a korean actor Lee Min Ho. So here's a spread of him for an endorsement. i love him, but mostly i love how he dressed up. why cant malay guys dress up like this?
i know some of the clothes are not suitable for our climate but generally i just feel that man in malaysia does not have enough effort or courage to dress up. when walking either in klcc or pavilion, u can really count on how many man really took their time to get ready to wear fashionable clothes. the rest would just end up with t-shirts and straight cut jeans and its so predictable.
cuba lelaki melayu pakai baju macam lee min ho kat bawah ni bile pergi office. tak ke sejuk hati memandang? nak pergi office pun jadi excited. haha. its so frustrating to be a girl in malaysia sometimes. but dont get me wrong, not all malaysian guys are like this but most of them kan? girls, u agree with me?
and this are some pictures that he posted on his twitter account. i love the multiple shot pictures. i think he took it with his iphone but i just dont know from what apps. if anybody knows, do share with me the apps name pls. thank u.
hmm.. isn't he a cutie? want to follow Lee Min Ho's twitter? click here :)
went to kinokuniya to grab birthday presents for my sister and came across this book. i love a book that is full with graphics. books that you don't basically read but adore. i can't see the content as it is plastic wrapped so decided to just buy it. this is a book where people from all over the world spills their life secrets on a postcard. this man, frank warren compiled it and make it into a book. he even got postcards written in hebrew and braille. i'm totally impressed. a simple concept that hold a thousand meanings. you have no idea how this project had improved one's life. people are so relief when they finally let go of their secrets and trust me most of the secrets will shock you. the project is still on and you can also send a postcard with your secret to mr frank! please note that pictures below are snapped from the book and has got nothing to do with me, before you think otherwise. thank you!
